Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 25 mm, 9.15 g, 12 h), Rome. IMP CAE C VIB TREB GALLVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ROMAE AETERNAE Roma seated left on shield, holding Victory in her right hand and long scepter with her left. Cohen -, cf. 106 (sestertius). RIC -, cf. 120 (sestertius). Unpublished and only the third known example. Rough and with a flan crack, otherwise, very fine.

This type is unpublished, but two other examples are known, both struck from the same dies: one in the Hohenkubin Collection, Lanz IV, 1974, 705 and another in the collection of Richard Beale.
